Joe's Italian Kitchen - Port Arthur

I ordered an 18-inch super pizza for pickup. When I arrived, Joe and the staff were incredibly attentive, making the process quick and easy. I took the pizza home and shared it with my dad, and we both loved it. It was clear that the ingredients were fresh, and the toppings were generous. Overall, it was an awesome experience, and I will definitely be returning!

From the moment we arrived, we sensed that this place had something special. The atmosphere was inviting, and it was clear that many customers were regulars. The overall cleanliness was satisfactory, though I did notice some condensation in the salt shaker, which is something that stands out in today’s world where cleanliness is paramount post-COVID. Overall, the restaurant was well-maintained. The service was exceptional—our waitstaff was attentive and friendly. I was particularly impressed by Joe, the owner, who was actively involved in every aspect of the restaurant. Whether on the phone, in the kitchen, or greeting patrons, he was an enthusiastic and accommodating host. When our food arrived, it was piping hot—always a plus for me—and absolutely delicious. Unlike the other restaurant we visited, Joe’s Italian had red pepper flakes and parmesan cheese readily available on the tables, enhancing the dining experience. My spaghetti was delightful, and the marinara sauce had the perfect hint of sweetness to balance the acidity, making it truly enjoyable. Once we finished our meals, we were pleasantly surprised when the check arrived. Rather than the usual $40 to $60 we’ve encountered at other Italian restaurants, our total here was only $27 for an equally delicious meal. This was an exceptional value! I would rate Joe's Italian Restaurant a solid 4.5 stars out of 5. A heartfelt thank you to the owner and staff for their outstanding service. We will definitely be returning to this hidden gem, and I believe that on our next visit, this already impressive place may very well earn a perfect 5-star rating. Thank you!

Mr. Salas (also known as Joe) is someone you can't help but love. As regular customers, we can't recall ever having a negative experience at this restaurant. He is always busy ensuring that both the food and service are perfect. If they ever catch him on a slow day, they tease him by asking where he found 30 passengers from the Midwest at the Istanbul airport!

Italian food! The chicken was surprisingly seasoned and cooked. Chicken Parmesan was well made and tasted phenomenal. The service was fast and the server would see us. Place is clean. Feels comfortable and cozy. If you want Italian food, come here. I looked around and asked myself and I'm glad I turned to the right place. I'll be back and I'm happy to try the pizza and the calzone. Very friendly service and gives you this little town charm.

Really good food here. A great menu with a bunch of choices but not so much that you would be confused. The food came hot with a great taste and super friendly service I couldn't have asked for more. The restaurant has great atmosphere and very nicely decorated. I highly recommend this place to anyone that's look to get Italian cuisine
