Fantastic meal times, with a selection of 4 daily specialties for around 6 €. I didn't see the menu, but all that comes out looks great too. and great coffee.

We were recommended to this cafe/restaurant and immersed in our last day. there are vegan options (no meal with chips and salat) as well as many vegetarian options (omeletts, salads, etc. the menu is offered in English and Portuguese. I ordered the vegetable omelet that came with chips and salat, and was probably a 4 egg spannette. it was huge and I couldn't finish it! would definitely recommend, because for 14€ we had 2 drinks and two great meals, a nice place to sit and a chance to relax.

After we tried different places with more or less good experience, we found this restaurant right behind the theater and went there twice. eating is really delicious, the portions are generous, the prices are really fair and the service is excellent.

A really great place to lunch. I and my friend love this place, they have a lot of vegetarian means of life that I recommend and the staff are very friendly.

There are loads of places to eat in Ponta Delgada, where you will eat wonderful food, you can find a lot of them here on TripAdvisor. We tried most of them, working down from the number 1 during our three week long visit. Just by...accident we found Regresso a Conversa, when a friend took us for a coffee. We came back for a lunch and what a lunch it was. Carlos showed us to our table and explained the Days Specials to us. We chose a chicken salad and a meat salad. We were not expecting more than normal but when it arrived wow how we had under estimated. It was a feast for the eyes and for the taste buds. We washed it down with a lovely white wine. Every mouthful was a burst of flavours. We both agreed it was the best meal we had had on the island. We then sat and talked to our host while enjoying a expresso. I know that whatever I write here will not do the food, wine and ambience justice. Just come here for lunch and see for yourself, you will not be disappointed. And if you are not happy, I will pay your bill ha ha. Because that's the icing on the cake, two huge gorgeous salads, two large glasses of wine, two expresso's, €16,34. We came back today to do it all again. Highly recommend, well done Carlos and family.
