Gastronomo - Ponta Delgada

Definitely our top choice in Sao Miguel for dinner!! We loved it so much, we went back a second time. Sonia and her son are so welcoming! The octopus salad was delicious, the meals are amazing and the desserts…all homemade by Sonia…are excellent!! Reservations are highly recommended. We actually stopped in at the restaurant to make our reservations. It was a perfect dining experience!

For Portuguese food (traditionally bland) the quality is very good and is fresh…please someone teach them to use spices Recommend: Tuna Rare

What an absolute GEM of a restaurant… the food is absolutely fab , fresh and well portioned The service is absolutely fantastic as they remembered us every time we went in as we had gone in 3 times during our trip as it was so good They even gave us some free bread to try as well as milk liquor which was delicious Definitely recommend if your in Ponta Delgada….. You must go!!!!!!!

Sonia and her son are so welcoming. The clams, blood sausage and pineapple , fish were deliciously prepared. Going back.
