I read about Bolos Do Vale on a blog. It's small with a few tables inside and outside. But they seem to do big business as I saw boxes of bolo levedo being loaded up to deliver. They also have tasty tarts we tried a pineapple and a buttery mochi type delicious!
At breakfast or at snack, make sure you taste the Bolo Levedo . It is a slightly sweet and very soft bread, and the fresher the better. Although their revenue does not have many secrets, they are made almost exclusively in Furnas, or by people from Furnas. According to tradition, they are cooked in a wood oven in a fryer. In Furnas there are many good quality options, but if you are in Ponta Delgada I recommend the pasty cakes from the Bolos do Vale . They can be purchased at the place where they are made, at the top of Rua Dr. Hugo Moreira (near Vip Executive Hotel), or in other stores, such as the King of Cheeses. They are usually taken at breakfast, with cheese and butter, but can also be used to make hamburgers.
The Bolo Levedos are nice here. good place to get breakfast here if you’re nearby, or else just pop into a supermarket to get these buns! they serve pastel de Nata here too which is slightly less sweet than the other ones i’ve tried.
Esta foi a minha primeira refeição nos Açores e gostei muito. O bolo do Vale estava delicioso e tinha gosto de muffin inglês úmido, e o presunto e o queijo são Jorge foram uma ótima adição, também comi a queijada de abacaxi. Os funcionários foram simpáticos e parecia um grupo amigável de moradores locais comendo lá.
Delicioso. Não parece algo incrível, mas na versão presunto e queijo é simplesmente fantástico. E também um ótimo café e serviço. Tudo é muito barato. Apenas tente.
