Great local spot! We live just down the street and can't believe we hadn't given this adorable, authentic Italian spot before we did. The cuisine is definitely authentic northern Italian and the handmade quality is evident in the dishes we tried. We ordered a bottle of wine with our meal which wasn't very good but other than that the meal was definitely 5 stars!

I completely agree with the previous review – this restaurant is truly a gem! It's a cozy place with a lovely ambiance, complete with white tablecloths, crisp white napkins, real silverware, and wine served in the proper glasses. The cleanliness is also commendable. I had the special grilled redfish with piccata cream sauce over Brussels sprouts, and it was absolutely delicious. My mother-in-law needed a gluten-free option, and they kindly modified a dish for her by substituting homemade chips for bread, which she found equally delightful. Our server was sweet and attentive, promptly clearing our plates once we finished rather than letting them linger on the table. I highly recommend this place if you're in town or passing through on I-12 and looking for a fantastic lunch in a charming small town. It’s definitely worth the short drive off the interstate. A first-class dining experience with excellent service!

My first visit to Paolo's was fantastic. I really enjoyed the food and the ambiance. I’ll definitely be returning. The calamari, which I didn't get a picture of, is the best in the area!

Paulo’s was very good. The atmosphere was good, the food was delicious and I enjoyed it very much! I’m looking forward to dining there again.

I just had the fried oyster spaghetti here, and I can hardly express how amazing it was! We were waiting in line at Roux and Brew, but then we decided to skip the wait and come to this place instead, and now it's my new favorite spot! If you're in Ponchatoula, do yourself a favor and get here right away for the best food in town!
