Egidiwirt - Politischer Bezirk Murau

On the way out of town, decided to stop for a bite. Had good reviews. My Risotto was OK, but not great. My wife enjoyed her salad. When paying, the waiter was completely unfriendly, did not ask us how it was and complained after we had asked to pay with credit card.

This place has a typical Austrian ambience with many wooden furniture. I thought the atmosphere was pleasant. The service was friendly and very ok to treat so many people. We were a group of 15 people. The typical Austrian food was beautiful. I had the beef in onion sauce. I thought the sauce was something to sakltry. My friend had the fish and that was great. The burgers were not the best. But then this is not a typical restaurant for this kind of food. They probably try to care for English-speaking tourists. And the pizza was good. Interesting drinks such as redcurrant, raspberry soda and elders. Very delicious!

The bedroom was badly decorated, in the morning for the breakfast selection was so bad I had only one semmel, Cona Coffee unrinkable. Everything was dirty? I'm sorry.

Although food quite OK, friendliness of staff (incl. owner/ boss of restaurant) just terrible. Using a clearly valid coupon it was rejected (due to very strange reasons like the cost of buying is too high for it, so owner does not make business !! and similar nonsense arguments). Discussion took very long .... On top of poor athmosphere in restaurant such unfriendliness of staff completely unacceptable.

We found this place on a way to Corinthia so we stopped off. We had a burger, which was ok and a salad with hat was supposed to be grilled cheese but turned out to be more of turkish pastry with cheese. Dissapointing. The garden is ok, service was fine. The prices were averages. We wouldn´t stop here again.
