St Elizabeths Restaurant Bar - Plympton

I got married two years ago at St. Elizabeth’s House. Today, I returned to savor a lovely afternoon tea in the stunning Darcy Room with my mother and best friend. It was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and the service was exceptional, as always. I wholeheartedly recommend this delightful experience to everyone!

I booked private rooms at St. Elizabeth House for my afternoon tea hen party, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! The staff was extremely pleasant and polite, and nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble. The food was fantastic, and they even packed up the leftovers for me to take home, which I really appreciated. The young ladies serving us were lovely and greeted us all with a smile. The restaurant and bar were even more beautiful than I had imagined; they truly give you a sense of luxury. I will definitely be visiting again for more afternoon teas and meals!

My partner and I chose to celebrate our first anniversary at this restaurant, and we were not disappointed! The food was outstanding—beautifully prepared and presented on the plate, clearly a testament to the chef's pride in her cooking. The service was both friendly and efficient, and the restaurant had a warm and inviting atmosphere. Plus, the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend dining here to everyone. We will definitely be back! It made our special occasion truly unforgettable.

Amazing venue, from beginning to end, excellent service from all employees, all about the high time really went smoothly. beautiful high-time location for photos, eating and evening buffet. luxurious rooms and perfect full English breakfast next morning. determines a high time we will never forget, many thanks.

I stayed at St Elizabeth’s on Sunday with my partner. We don’t leave many reviews on places we go but my partner and I thought your business deserved a review!! The receptionist Caroline was so welcoming and friendly. We mentioned to her that we were local but wanted to stay the night cause it was my birthday treat and to see what the hotel was like etc, as st Elizabeth’s could be a potential wedding venue in the future for us. Even though she’s not specialised in the weddings, she stopped what she was doing and kindly offered to show us around the bridal suites and ceremony room etc, we thought that was a nice touch and we really appreciated it. We had a cream tea on arrival and we were expecting just the standard scones and tea but they gave us an amazing selection of cakes aswel- was so yummy! Our room was amazing, probably the best room I’ve stayed in (and we’ve stayed in quite a few! so spacious and the bed was so comfy! All the staff we came across were so friendly and food was lovely too! We’ll definitely be considering St Elizabeth’s for our wedding venue in the future!
