Heaven Restaurant Bar Gallery

Incredibly dissapointing. Decided last min to go for a roast and popped here. The carvery veg was all soggy and bland, the gammon was incredibly salty and the beef was somehow both very rare and very tough! The serving station was dirty and all the utensils were just piled at the end. We came last year and the meat wasn't great but thought we'd give it another go. Certainly won't be coming back.

We had a group booking and reserved a room for our meal. I can't emphasise enough what a fantastic experience we had. The barman/waiter was so helpful, lovely. The manager was so accommodating. The food was great and excellent value. We all had the carvery and finished with pudding. The homemade pistachio ice-cream was amazing! Would definitely dine here again.

The carvary we had was really disappointing worst I’ve ever had if I’m honest and my friends said there’s was to The meat was all the off cuts out side edges and fatty bits all the veg was under cooked and rock hard also the lager was flat and the cider wasn’t the best either all in all very disappointing we was told to serve our selves with gloves on and yet there were no gloves provided just an empty box even no they just opened we were stood round about 20 mins waiting to be served even no we was the only people in there this place should be called HELL not heaven also the older lady behind the bar was very very rude and unprofessional and back to the dinner I wouldn’t even want to give it to the dog !!!

Kids both working, wife didn't want to cook roast for only 2 of us but still wanted roast. Managed to squeeze us in ,as they always do, and it was good as usual. Lots of vegetables including my favourite cauliflower cheese and a great choice of meats, all for a tenner. Great food and staff.

Nothing particularly bad but nothing amazing. Really good choice of veg etc but unfortunately a lot of it needed replenishing and wasn’t quite hot enough, perhaps we arrived at a bad time. Unfortunately the food wasn’t the best but the potatoes were good! I didn’t have any meat although apparently it was very nice. I did think that £10.95 for a vegetarian/meatless carvery (same as standard price) was a little steep. Service wasn’t great either but it was nice to be offered veggie gravy. Clearly popular for deliveries which seems like a great idea.
