Cafe Bistro 23 - Plymouth

I can't recommend this place enough! As soon as I walked in, I was charmed by the cozy interior. Then came the food, which was an excellent value for the price—generous portions and delicious flavors. The only confusing aspect of my experience was the service; it felt like we had decided on a server ourselves, as they brought over a menu and checked our order. However, when they cleared our plates, they didn’t say anything about the bill. We expected them to return at some point, but we ended up waiting until we had to ask for the check. It's a minor detail, but just something to keep in mind when you visit. Overall, I definitely recommend giving this place a try!

The best breakfast in Plymouth! The short wait was absolutely worth it. I haven't been here since before the pandemic, but I can assure you that I've visited the restaurant and will definitely be returning soon.

On a short break in plymouth, looking for a good one right before the whole day breakfast. what I found in cafe bistro 23 was an excellent breakfast. clean and comfortable in modern style, friendly helpful staff. a classic breakfast at 3.30 o'clock no problem ordered, I wouldn't have fried eggs, no problem. £5 including a cup tee bought, 2 beautiful large sausages nice and fleshy, 2 quality smoked bacon-outs, beautiful thick white toast, high quality beans and hash brown, as well as the egg. great value and fantastic quality, very happy .

I have been a couple of times. On my last visit I ordered eggs florentino. When it arrived there was bacon under my eggs. I don't eat bacon. It was quickly whisked away and a fresh dish prepared. It was a fresh meal, they didn't just remove the bacon. Mistakes happen, it is how they are dealt with that matters. Cafe Bistro 23 dealt well with the problem well. The coffee was pretty good too
