Hot fresh food, friendly and helpful staff and managers. Great work

Stopped here for a quick snack whilst passing through Plymouth. Having been loads as a child I had fond memories of this Burger King. Unfortunately, it’s a mile away from how it used to be. When we walked in there were no customers in sight. 4 staff stood talking by the serving desk, yet tables covered in rubbish, chairs all over the place and the floor was disgusting. We ordered, sat down and noticed food all under the tables. When I took my little one to the loo, she slipped over on ketchup on the stairs, and then in the loo there was no toilet roll in either of the ladies toilets. Upstairs, the ‘balcony’ area that used to be full of flowers when I was little, was an empty, dusty space. The floor again was dirty, bin was overflowing and the tables were a mess with chairs randomly dotted around. The food was the usual standard, which was perfectly fine. Enjoyable and filled a hole. But unfortunately I won’t be heading there again with the state it was in and clear lack of any management or care from staff.

When using the touch screen and selecting Meals it comes up with the available choices inc prices. However, it turns out these are NOT the prices of the meals. These are the prices of just the burgers. Trading Standards needs to get involved with this. If it says Meals in the heading then the prices shown should be for a meal! As a result we decided to give up and go elsewhere where the prices are not deliberately misleading.
