Over the years, we've come to appreciate just how special Poor Thom's Tavern truly is. Tucked away in a village with only one traffic light, right across from the post-and-beam barn library, Poor Thom's Tavern brings a sense of nostalgia, offering excellent food and service. You’re almost guaranteed to see a familiar face, but more importantly, you’ll be greeted with friendly smiles. It’s fantastic that you can dine both indoors and outdoors, and it's delightful to stroll around the serene countryside after dinner. You’ll find all the incredible cuisine you’d expect from urban areas in the tranquil, picturesque setting of Meriden.
