When they did, I lost 100 percent of the cost of the stay. There are probably good reasons the owners have the policy. I'm not arguing against it. I just bring it to the attention of other travelers whose plans are apt to change on relatively short notice and who might not think to look for such things.
My daughter and I spent a night at this quaint New England Inn. Great service, friendly staff, great location. Loved that we could enjoy a cocktail and have an amazing dinner right on the premises. We'll be back...have to bring my husband next time.
We had a very pleasant corner room in the original part of the inn, furnished with antiques. Very quiet at night no noise from other guests' rooms. Bathroom was up to date, everything was clean. Very nice full buffet breakfast was included: scrambled eggs, bacon, granola, yogurt, fresh fruits, etc. We're glad we stayed here.
We hosted our Memorial day wedding at the Quechee Inn and had all of our friends and family stay their over the weekend. It was so fun to have everyone in one spot. Everyone at the Inn was so nice and very helpful. Beautiful venue for a long wedding weekend!
Michelle always brings me up when I have to travel to work in the last minute. She's great. they are always so hospitable in the quechee inn, something that many of the larger chains forget. Why do they go to Vermont if they don't stay in one inn?
