Restaurant has a nice atmosphere though and the town it’s located in is very cute!
The vegetable guvec and stuffed grape leaves are fantastic. The restaurants seating area has double in the last year, but the Tuckerbox has still kept its original feel and style.
We ate lunch in tuckerbox while we return from stowe. it is a jewel: Turkish cuisine with many vegan options.
I would consider this from my top 5 omnivore restaurants. I was blown away from the sleeping rooms and baba ghanoush. there is only one handful of vegan options, but I have tried most of them and loved it
This was an “ok” dining experience. They had a few options but salad and hummus are not very unique vegan options. Dolmas were yummy, but soaked in oil (not WFPB friendly). I was extremely disappointed that their lentil soup was not vegan- that is a staple vegan basic! Nor were the falafels, another staple easily made vegan. It is a cute cafe, and they did have almond and soy milk options for their lattes, but here are better places around for vegan cuisine.
