The meat is actually being prepared right at the dining area on a chalk-fired grill by the head chef who is also a barbecue master. I mean.. what do you want more? This comes sizzling hot on a gigantic plate and I dare to say that you can taste that this comes from an animal that roamed freely in the breathtakingly beautiful, grass-green hills of Galicia. It’s juice, it’s tender and is so so much. For meat lovers As Termas De Doro is the place to go, don’t miss it. Plus this is an authentic experience, it’s not a tourist place, naturally friendly and very Spanish locals hang out at this cosy place and yet the owner speaks impeccable English. This is one of the rare moments when travelling where you forget that you are a tourist and start being a guest. Delicious, highly recommended and truly exceptional. 5 Stars
This place mixes up old tradition with sleek and modern. The bar is open an homely and the main restaurant has an old grill cooker in the corner where the chef cooks up the churrasco! The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!
