Hickory Tavern - Pinehurst

It has not been here for a few years and it has improved. On a Sunday after 11:00. I have to go to a table. It was clean and had plenty of space for the 4 of us. The staff was fast and had no problems. The food was great and didn't take long. I had only the cocktail shrimps that were in shell. Didn't taste right and inform the staff. They took care of it without problems. Quesadilla was great. The lobster roll sandwich was good, but I think too much salad. I'll be back.

Most of my Fav Sandwich shops closed on Monday! No Breafast, no lunch was 3:30, I really needed a *Good Burger*! So i Googled Best *Hickory Tavern* recomended! *GPS Direction* South 15/501 by Pinehurst! But just one warning GPS Directly turn left at Comfort Inn Driveway! Called *Hickory* Staff Very helpful, Direct to drive only North of Inn said it happened! But once it was Seated fast, Very Nice Server, I ordered my burger with Bacon, Arugala Toppings on the side, Steak Fries Served Fast! One side was Peppery for me, but I love Flavor! I really enjoyed my burgers $12.99, had Tonic Lime! Forget the photo of the big menu, it has Shrimp Grits, many of my Favs! Thank you. I'm back.

Yum. Shrimps and geese are really delicious!! The staff is nice and fast. Do not get oysters... they were dry/flake sticking to shells.

Listened, observed a little from the LPGA U.S. Open at Pineneedles. I had the shattered chicken, with gazed peppers and onions and yellow rice. It was super cheezy, and the vegetables were seasoned, but the chicken really didn't have much taste. The star of the show was the side salad I ordered with my meal. Always great atmosphere. Friendly service and fast. This trip I only had drinks but I would reccomend the blackberry makers smash to anyone. Not to sweet very smooth and great flavor for summer months.
