The Monte Cristo was very buttery and the raspberry sauce was perfect with it. I had to ask for another sauce, they don’t give you very much. To top it all off we did the Rum bread pudding it was good, but didn’t have a true custard like bread pudding consistency. We would definitely return again if in the area. The staff wasn’t as attentive and had to get her attention a couple of times.
Great food, drinks (ruby red mule) and super women friendly! Atmosphere is fabulous for start of golf season and the pimento cheese tray is not to be missed. Also they have sanitary Susie's and Bobby pins in women's restroom for patrons to have! Perfect place to visit whether a single independent woman or a group visit!
Great atmosphere, excellent menu and awesome staff who make sure you feel welcome and have a great experience. We stopped in for a quick cocktail and bite to eat while the girls were out exploring the village. I highly recommend trying their house made Pimento Cheese Burger.
By far, this is one of Pinehurst's hidden secrets! This is our first time here and we were impressed by the professional and knowledgeable wait staff, welcoming atmosphere and reasonable menu pricing. With a variety of menu selections from traditional southern specialities (including fried green tomatoes) to ethnic selections (including Korean and Mexican tacos) to vegetarian dishes (including black bean burgers and grand pimento sandwiches), there's literally something for everyone. They also have a variety of in-house made desserts including Fried Twinkies, berry cobbler, Ghirardelli brownie. It was a A lovely brunch experience dining here with my teenage daughter!
Thank-you to all of you at Drum Quill Public House. I got myself from RDU airport to Pinehurst without much trouble on Sunday evening 11/19/17... was trying to make it in time to say goodbye in person one last time to my father. Not carrying a cell phone I found myself completely lost in Pinehurst. I resorted to an old fashioned method. I asked for directions. I found this bustling restaurant and was helped by the compassionate and kind bartender and other staff there and also by 1 customer whom I followed part way to my destination. I did get to my father's bedside in time to say goodbye in person. I returned to Drum Quill on Tuesday, 11/21/17, and had a marvelous burger fries. In saying thank-you I broke down a bit. The kind of place I'd recommend to anyone! Thank-you again for your caring staff.
