Preacher's Smokehouse - Pigeon Forge

If you're looking for a must-visit BBQ smokehouse in Tennessee, make this your top choice. You won't be disappointed with this charming little spot. The meat is sourced from local farms and tastes far superior to anything you can buy at the grocery store. Although I'm not a huge fan of ribs or pork, I found myself devouring the ribs and burnt ends first from the sampler we ordered. The sides were just as impressive; we especially enjoyed the white chili with chicken. We also had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, who was the kindest man we've ever encountered. It's clear that the family pours a lot of love into their work. While I wasn't particularly fond of Gatlinburg, I would gladly drive ten hours again just to enjoy Preacher's Smokehouse one more time.

We've had this restaurant on our list for quite some time, and we finally got to visit on one of their open days. Oh my goodness! This is undoubtedly some of the best barbecue I've ever had. The prices are fantastic, and the portions are incredibly generous—you’ll likely have leftovers to take home. The quality of the food is outstanding as well. We ordered the three-meat combo with brisket, pulled pork, and burnt ends, along with Brunswick stew and mac and cheese. We also decided to add ribs for just $5, and we topped it all off with a chocolate skillet for dessert. Everything was AMAZING! I can't wait to come back as often as possible whenever I'm in the Pigeon Forge area. After reading about the story behind this place, it's clear that there are some truly incredible people responsible for serving up some of the best BBQ around.

Hands down some of the best BBQ ive ever had! The meat on the ribs quickly fell off the bone and melted in my mouth! My husband and I split the sampler and it was definitely worth the money! We didn?t finish it all but it makes good for multiple meals! Ihighly recommend you stop by this off the road place and enjoy some good BBQ!

Update from February.... Still absolutely the BEST food Sevierville has to offer! We came up with the kids this time and they ALL said this was by far the best place we have eaten while here! Thanks for always being amazing and providing the besthospitality in the area! From the Mills Family! This by far is the BEST food around! Stay off grid and make sure to take a triphere and eat!!! We got the chance to meet the preacher and learn some stories of the area and get a picture with him. We will beback tomorrow without a doubt! Terrific food and hospitality!

The restaurant is cozy, with just four tables inside and a few picnic tables outside. It's open from Thursday to Saturday, from 11 AM to 7 PM. Out of all the places we've eaten at this week, this one was my absolute favorite. If you're visiting the Smoky Mountains, you really need to check this place out. The staff is incredibly friendly and willing to sit and chat with you. Plus, they offer free coffee! I highly recommend stopping by Preachers Smokehouse, and make sure to follow Lititz Dad for more adventures!
