Their battered fish and mussels are fantastic! They’re crispy, light, fluffy, and incredibly flavorful! I highly recommend them. I also went back to try their Fergie burger, which was juicy and delicious!

Very affordable, with fantastic crunchy chips and an absolutely amazing burger! Wow! This is a must-visit spot when you're in Picton! I had the Fergie Burger with a half scoop of chips.

I have had my fair share of takeaways while traveling our country. Must say, this is one of the best. A true bacon and egg burger. Not spoiled by lettuce and rabbit tucker. Real meat patties. Good sized everything, and a fluffy but crunchy batter. Top job.

Very good take away fish and chips. This place was full of locals, which is always a good sign. Chips tasted fresh and were well cooked. All the fish we ordered was really yum, and fresh. Quite a bit of variety, and the prices are inexpensive. The wife and I pigged out on a heap of fish, and it only cost as $20 total. I took some photos of the menu, take a look. There is 3 family size tables, you can eat in if you want, but it's a bit more of a take away joint.

Great BURGERS!! And very good fish and chips! I had the chicken cranberry burger- delicious!! Very big though- so be prepared! Also if you think that was big you’ll be in for a surprise as my son had an even bigger burger! He’s 12 and ate the Fergie. Same as my husband. Very big burgers! My dad had the tarakihi- he said it was yum. My 9 year old had the kids burger. Highly recommend getting the kids burger if you are an adult too. It looked yum! Home made patties. We shared one scoop of chips and that was plenty! Recommend allowing time to visit Shia Shia’s! We ate before our ferry crossing.
