Subway - Phillipsburg

I have eaten here for the second time now. The first time, I had a sub made with stale, hard bread. I questioned the freshness of the ingredients being used. I only have one chance to enjoy my food. They did replace my sub with a fresh one, but I don't plan on returning. They have been baking for over 30 years, but I am familiar with the difference between fresh and old bread.

This Subway restaurant, located inside a Walmart, offers a comfortable setting. While some of the employees can be a bit rude at times, the experience really depends on who is working. The sandwich fillings, particularly the amount of meat, can be a bit lacking, again depending on the staff. Overall, I give them 4 stars because the owner is very nice and the place is kept clean and tidy. When the owner is working, it's always a fantastic experience.
