L'oasis - Petite Riviere Salee

Very long time for having the food ready... it was about 1h. Ordered the fish burger witch it was not great at all. I don't recommand if you re hungry!

Magnificent. The best meal we had in Martinique. Very friendly staff that were very forgiving of our French language skills. The samosa appetizer was delicious; all of the entrees were excellent: daurade; thon; blanquette st. pierre. Desserts were also delicious.

Maybe this used to be a great restaurant. It's not like that anymore. The food quality is average and the food just doesn't look so good anymore. When you consider they are serving raw chicken, best to avoid it. The accras with fish had no sign of fish in them. When i showed them the raw chicken, they offered to cook it again, without even apologizing. Only when i paid, they did deduce the price of the accras from the bill and then they apologized. Covid has taken it's toll on this one

We absolutely loved this place. We had no reservation but they found a way to get us in. Definitely one of the best dinners we've had in the islands!!

When this reopens, please do visit! The food was delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly. As a vegan, there were plenty of choices and my husband had a great tasting platter (I think it was called a creole salad which was fantastic to give a little bit of everything. Unfortunately we didn't end up eating out often at all during our time in a Martinique because it's not vegan friendly (and it was during lockdown! so I'm really glad he got a chance to have some fantastic local food from somewhere including a dish his dad recommended from his time in the army based in Martinique.
