Hippopotamus Steakhouse - Le Francois

Nice place, well located, nice menu but very poor, unwilling service. The needs a manager to guide its employees.

Food is good, but the service is really slow. Don't expect quick service.

We arrived at the Restaurant and were not acknowledged by the waiting staff. One staff member was on her phone and said our table would be prepared. She failed to inform the restaurant staff of our presence and passed us waiting twice with a bottle of water in her hands. I observed several tables that were filled with dirty dishes. Two senior staff appeared to be cleaning a mess that had been made. We were eventually reluctantly sat down when we asked a staff if reservations were needed for the restaurant. We sat and were totally ignored by the wait staff. This is thw worst service experiened in my life in a restaurant. We eventually settled for fast food after walking out of the restaurant.

Service was slow. Lots of staff but service was slow. Toilets were dirty. Unclean and no toilet paper. Food was okay.

Food was tasty and enjoyable. However, service was pretty slow, we waited for food 55 minutes. People were nice overall. I would recommend to eat here when not in hurry.
