I didn 't come here to play Menu Roulette.... Pathetic!
Very nice veggie food for low cost. Had the vege fish hotpot eggplant dish, plus white fungus papaya soup for dessert. Good staff, nice simple atmosphere.
There are so many of these restaurants around here that it is hard to do something to make yourselves stand out. Sandalo does a pretty good job though. The first thing you'll notice is the menu is pretty huge but then again, that's just preparing you for the food portions. If you order a meal without the intention of sharing, you are going to be FULL. All the food dishes we had were prepared well but maybe just lacking a bit in the flavour department, specifically, they could do with getting a bit more spice where it's expected. Don't get too attached to the photos in the menu as most of the dishes either looked very different or had substituted ingredients. Not a problem for us as we were more than happy with what we ended up with. Edit: Previous review mentioned meal prices being 15-20 MYR but the current menu does seem to be cheaper. Dishes ranged from 8-18 MYR with most coming in under 15 MYR. Updated from previous review on 2019-06-12
