Niche Vegan Kitchen - Petaling Jaya

I wanted to put zero stars but Happy Cow wouldn 't allow it, so I 'll leave it as it is. The main reason I 'm unhappy with this establishment is that it calls itself vegan although several menu items in this restaurant are not vegan as they contain animal products. Putting the word vegan in the name would make people think that all the dishes in this restaurant are vegan. But they 're not. So why mislead people? And why does the restaurant feel the need to use animal products when they 're absolutely cruel and unnecessary? I would strongly urge Niche to learn what happens to cows, chickens and bees in the dairy, egg and honey industries, and make the ethical choice of using vegan substitutes. Please. Food here was average and many foods seemed overpriced. Service was slow, however they were looking to hire a new waiter (sign on door) so it seems they were aware of them being understaffed.

Pricey but decent dishes. Plenty of options. Standard tasting faux meat (we tried the prawn).
