2 Chez - Peoria

I had planned to go to 2 Chez for quite some time before the pandemic, so I was excited when I could finally visit. I had heard great things about their cocktails, and really enjoyed the Clementine. Most bourbon cocktails can be overpowering, but this one was refreshing. The tuna poke appetizer was tasty and nice for sharing, and the blue cheese filet was great. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a hidden gem in Peoria.

Have gone here for years, never had a bad experience. Even brought a vegan friend because I wanted to share the experience, and after coming out and speaking with him the kitchen accommodated his request. The calamari is the best in town. They also have added a group table where you can sit if there is space with anyone who is already there. Makes a unique dining experience. Take away is also awesome. My wife and I dined here and had a nice time. We both had cocktails that they brought out in a smoke jar. We started with calamari, which was very good. Perfectly seasoned, and very large pieces. Tender and tasty, not chewy or rubbery at all. The sauce was a little flat, but still good. We followed that with a burrata salad, which was good but lacked flavor.
