The 50's Diner

Was told 20 to 25 minute wait but they got us in quicker. Said they were very short handed. Took our order quick enough. Brought drinks but never once came to check on us. Passed us up several times but not a word. I ordered 2 scrambled eggs with sausage and bacon. Asked for eggs to be very well done. Took over 30 minutes to get food and I had to ask about it. My eggs were cold and not close to be well done. Sausage was so over cooked( most likely had sit for awhile) it was hard and uneatable. Toast was cold (butter wouldn't melt). The rest of our groups food was ok. Waitress dropped check off before we even got our food which I found tacky. She never once came to check on us. For $92.00 dollars I found it to be a rip-off. We ate at a pizza place last weekend and had amazing food and even better service. I tip her very well because of this(over $50.00). Today not so much not even 10% of that . I don't blame bad food on waitress but I do bad service. I understand busy but that was ridiculous. I a couple came in around 15-20 minutes after us and got their food way before us.

Won’t be back ..! Atmosphere was loud,..”people didn’t care if their phones were loud around others! had to ask when we were getting our food took forever!.

Just ate there for lunch. Just kind of disappointed. Had ultimate chicken sandwich and fries with cheese sauce which in my opinion was bland and after a 40 min wait for not impressed. Waitresses said it was hand breaded and that's why it took so long. For 18 dollars and some change I expected something better. Wont be back sorry you lost me.
