I ordered the Chicken 65 Biryani for the first time— so good! We shared the garlic naan, which is also a must. We love Indian food and this place is a go-to spot.
This review is for a Door Dash Order. For the price I sure didn't get very much. Why put rice in a Styrofoam box ?Wasn't much rice at allWasn't much Goat Curry, but very tastyIf you want to feel ripped off go pay $25If you want to pay much less for the same amount of food, go to Tawa Kitchen
My review is late but I have to give this. This is the worst Indian food I have ever had in my whole life.I got stomach upset after eating their chicken 65 and when I try to call them and ask about the food the management is new I think and the way they behaved is very very rude and kept asking me questions “how do you guarantee the stomach upset that it is because of our food”I don’t have words to describe my feelings the way the manager or the owner behaved. The both owner and the manager kept arguing with me instead of apologizing for the bad food they served.I really don’t understand how can they be in public business when they don’t even have basic common sense on how to talk to the customers.I would say it’s “bekaar ka tadka”This happened few months back but I didn’t get a chance to write a review and I was very very frustrated with the way they behaved when I try to complain about bad food and my ILL health happened after eating their food.I only request people who ever wants to order food their just be careful about their quality of their food.
This is my 4th time going in 30 days and they're so consistent! Taste-FULL food, hefty servings, clean dining, pleasant environment, EXCELLENT service... if you visit once, you'll visit again and again and again!Vegetarian options: There's more than enough!
I do not have enough words for Indian Tadka. Oh my goodness. So so so yummy. The richness of flavor is amazing. The FOOD. The food. Oh so amazing. Certainly one of my top 3 favorite food (not just Indian places in Peoria. Whether you are local or just passing through, consider having a meal here.Expect to spend a little more here than at other nearby restaurants. However, considering the phenomenal flavor, the variety and quantity of spices involved in each dish, and the sheer amount of labor it would take to make these dishes at home, I feel the price is justified. I tend to take out a lot, but I would absolutely recommend dining in if you can! The staff is so kind and professional, and something about the restaurant just makes the food taste even better. For Midwestern snowflakes like me, order the mild or medium spice level with a lassie drink. Even medium spice level can feel hot to the Midwestern palate. Beware that some dishes are hotter than others if this is important to you, pay attention to the food descriptions when ordering. But oh, the burn is so worth it.A spicy culprit you might not expect is cardamom. Dont shy away from dishes with cardamom they are SO yummy but be aware that you could potentially bite down on a whole spicy seed pod if you arent careful!I have not even tried half the menu, but here are my personal favorites: Goat Korma (bone in , chicken vindaloo, or the Hyderabad biriyani with a sweet lassie and garlic naan. And the chilli paneer appetizer and samosas are amazing too you are with a group (or just very hungry .Vegetarian recommendations: Aloo Gobi, palak paneer, chili paneer appetizer, vegetable samosa appetizer, Baygan Bharta, yellow daily, tofu vindaloo, vegetable biriyaniRecommendations for sensitive eaters (mild spice : Butter chicken, anything Tikka masala, tandoori chicken, or palak paneer (palak paneer is a creamy spinach and cheese. Good for spice sensitive, but probably not good for picky eaters. . Order any of these with a mango lassie and plain or garlic Naan. For bone in goat dishes, be aware that you should eat carefully and may need to use your hands to help you eat around the little bones. But the goat is my favorite protein at Indian Tadka, so don't be scared to give it a try!I'm so excited to see this restaurant has expanded their menu and is now offering Sunday brunch! Can't wait to try it!
