The menu indicated that gluten-free options were available, so I decided to check it out. I spoke with the manager, who was very knowledgeable and explained their measures to prevent cross-contamination. I ordered the tempura fried broccoli salad with blue cheese dressing and chips, which were cooked in a separate fryer.

Great small place for an evening meal. the staff was friendly and saw us quickly. there is a quite small menu, but what they taste amazing! we had the drawn black and jalapeño Scotch egg as well as the philly cheese steak taxioto for starter and the california fish and chips and swarms with mac and triple cheese for netzen, all tasted amazing. they also have a good selection of cocktails and everything is really good cheap! would go back!

I have absolutely worth waiting for three days. I wanted to book this restaurant when we went to penzance and last night we secured a table. everything is well cooked with perfect spice, highly recommended.

It could have been a completely different experience. While there's a Wetherspoons just around the corner, we stumbled upon this gem, and the sun seemed to shine on us that day. Mermaid Alley is a delightful restaurant, located just a 10-minute walk from the harbor in Penzance. The menu beautifully blends Southern comfort food with influences from South America, the Caribbean, and intriguing Asian flavors, resulting in stunning dishes. Everything was so tasty that we were tempted to lick our plates clean—please consider adding the apple/shoe wing to the main menu! The warm atmosphere is enhanced by the attentive staff, who keep delivering delicious cocktails. We enjoyed our meal so much that we immediately booked another table for later in the week.

Visited on our week break from London. The service was great and fantastic food. Wide selection to choose from with the daily specials ticking all the boxes. The cocktails were also delicious. Little gem hidden off main square. Reviews from others speak highly of this restaurant and they did not disappoint!
