Lovely restaurant. Friendly and efficient service. Great menu for adults and children. Calm and relaxing.

Food was not great quality, pretty sure the Mac and cheese was out of a packet, tinned salmon for the nicoise salad and had to pay extra for eggs, makes it not a nicoise salad. Vegan option very dry, could have done with a lot more sauce and sweet potato, service was slow, waitress just standing around whilst we were waiting to order.

Asha is an absolute superstar. we booked our high time here and it was completely perfect. they will not regret when they book here. in the did, two of the guests spoke and thought we spent 5 times what we actually spent to have our special day here. eating was just divine. the chef is so talented. absolutely nothing went wrong. what a wonderful day, all thanks to asha and the team here in restoration yard. you should be so proud of you. the worth for our money was incredible, and it was classic like the hell!

Dogs are allowed out on the patio and the view is lovely. The food is great and the staff are helpful, professional and very friendly. My only criticism is that it's a wee bit pricey but the shop and the cafe are the same.

This is a very nice restaurant but it's within the Dalkeith Country Park and one has to pay a £3.00 parking fee to use the restaurant's facilities. It seems to me that it would be very easy to allow the parking fee to be deducted from your restaurant bill (perhaps if you spend over a fixed price) however, this does not happen at present and while the coffee is good it will be an expensive cup if that's all you want.
