Mcdonald's Gasoline Alley East

This was the worst McDonald's experience we've ever had, thanks to the incompetent staff. We waited nearly 30 minutes for our order, only for it to never be served. We ended up leaving without any food, but we did manage to get our money back—so the only loss was the time we spent waiting. It was quite the spectacle, though; at least six customers returned from the drive-thru with incorrect orders, and one even received a burger without a patty! I understand mistakes happen—like forgetting cheese on a cheeseburger—but a burger with no meat? That's a new low! Whoever was working the evening shift on Friday, August 11, 2023, needs to be retrained.

Overall, my experience was quite disappointing. Although the staff were friendly and accommodating, they unfortunately didn't have any of the items I ordered in stock.

The service is generally outstanding, but on the afternoon of September 1, the waiting area felt quite cramped, and some guests were walking into the narrow aisle.

This location is incredibly convenient for me! Parking is easy to find, which makes it a great stop during my visit to Edmonton.

We stopped for a meal on our way to Edmonton, and I have to say, this is the dirtiest McDonald's I've ever seen. The women's restroom had overflowing toilet water, and there were dirty paper towels piled halfway up the wall. The entire seating area was grimy and appeared to have not been cleaned in a long time. We chose to leave because if the food preparation area in the back was as filthy as the front, my family could have become ill. Corporate really needs to intervene and improve this location before someone gets seriously sick.
