Ee Beng Vegetarian Food - Penang

I filled my plate with delicious-looking options and paid at the counter (including drinks, I paid 16RM). They had a wide variety of mock meats, tofu, wontons, spring rolls, veggies, curries, and noodles. The only thing I asked for was guidance on the spiciness levels of the dishes.

There is a wide selection of vegetable and imitation meat dishes available at this restaurant. It is convenient to choose your dishes and bring them to the counter with your drink order. My large plate and iced coffee only cost 17MYR £2.83! This is a charming, no-frills spot to enjoy a local meal.

This restaurant is not an "all you can eat" type of place. Instead, you choose from 25 food options and pay at the cashier. They have a lot of tofu, soy, and tempeh dishes that taste great and are extremely affordable. In my opinion, this is a very cheap option. Make sure to go in hungry! #Veganuary

Typical Malaysian Penang lang vegetarian eatery, no need for Michelin ****, no propaganda frivilies, straight forward honest plant base nature 's food the Buddha would happily sit with you to share heartily, the price is the cherry on the cake for the total experience ... I frequent this venue whenever I 'm home, reminds me of my chiak chai days many many moons ago with mum and aunties uncles in Buddhist harmony, thanks Ee Being for being there still for us ...

Standard fare among vegetarian buffets in this part of the globe. You'll pay before you eat, the exact amount depending on how much food you put on your plate. Expect to pay 12 MYR if you're feeling hungry; more if you're being greedy and/or wasteful. Not really suitable for large groups due to the limited seating and absence of square tables, so you can usually eat in peace without too much noise from White people.
