Restaurant agréable, nous mangeons très bien et les prix plus que correct. la plus grande plage de la rivière juste derrière. Au travail pour le moment... mais ne sera plus accueillant.

Nous avons mangé sur place, mais aussi pris les plats à emporter. Tout est parfait, l'accueil, la cuisine, c'est un plaisir

Foi a 2a vez que viemos e voltaremos seguramente! Para além de ser comida deliciosa (a sopa é sempre feita com legumes da época e da região) e caseira, somos servidos com muita simpatia e profissionalismo. Vale mesmo a pena!

We drove for 45 minutes to go here after seeing the amazing photos on their FB page and after reading the good reviews here. I brushed off the bad reviews as being off nights , but I should have been more careful. First let me say that the menu for 8.50 per person was fine. Nothing special but for the price a good value, however in the area most cafes serve the same fare and often better, certainly nothing worth the travel thankfully the small river beach just behind is fantastic and saved the day! The problems however are much greater. There were no entradas other than bread and olives, the cheese they show in their photos was not even visible, let alone available. The menu of 2 choices was the only option available: grilled chicken or feijoada de chocos. No alternatives, no other options. We were very rudely treated when we inquired about other possibilities. There were 3 waiters for over 50 diners and understandably they were hurried and frustrated, but the organisation is horrific and their abruptness and unpleasantness was undeserved. We waited over 30 minutes seated before we ordered, over 1 hour before anything arrived at the table, and in all we spent 2 hours in the restaurant before leaving before ordering desert and coffee for fear of having to wait even longer. No apologies were ever offered. The food was basic, certainly nothing compared to the stylish photos on their FB page and certainly not worth the drive even if price is your driving force there are certainly better options in your area. If you are in Meimoa, try one of the others or perhaps the snackbar on the river, they couldn’t be worse and perhaps are even better.

We dropped in on a whim while driving past and I had the best steak of my life. Run, don’t walk. It was cooked to perfection. And the hand cut chippies were also delicious.
