Pumpernickel Deli - Pasadena

This charming hidden gem is located between the hotel lobby and the neighboring office building. I had a fantastic breakfast burrito here at a very reasonable price, especially when compared to the hotel food just a few steps away! It's a great way to support a small business. I’ll definitely stop by for breakfast or lunch again the next time I’m in the area for work.

This restaurant is fantastic. I've been teaching a food safety course at the hotel where it’s located once a month for many years, and I’ve always been pleased with my experiences here. I recommend it to my students as well. Occasionally, the service can be a bit slow, but keep in mind that they often have a lot of conference attendees during lunch, so it's best to plan ahead.

I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the customer service. The location is perfect for me, just a short distance from my home. The staff members are consistently friendly. I will definitely be returning!

This is a perfect example of why I’m grateful that I don’t rely solely on Yelp before dining out. A coworker recommended the coffee at this establishment, so I decided to give it a try, and I was surprised to see such low ratings once I checked in. The coffee was fantastic, and the staff kindly allowed me to use my own mug. Even though my YETI mug was huge—about 2.5 times the size of a large—the barista only charged me for one large and one medium. The atmosphere was friendly, and the French roast was exceptional. They also have an extensive breakfast menu. Definitely visit this place and don’t pay attention to the ratings!

I can't believe we discovered Pumpernickel Deli tucked away in the Hilton on Los Robles after all these years! My friend and I used to work at a business on Colorado Blvd back in the late 90s. The staff was incredibly patient and courteous while I asked a lot of questions about the menu, and it resulted in my hot dog sandwich being absolutely delicious and grilled to perfection! They even had ginger ale! Overall, it was a wonderful experience—quiet, clean, and full of great food.
