Noodle Master - Pasadena

I went for an early evening meal / late lunch today and there weren't too many people at first, but as time went on more diners started to arrive. I can see why this place is popular and I wish I lived closer so I could make it a regular spot. The service was fantastic, our waitress was very patient and friendly with us as first-time customers. The menu had a lot of options to choose from and the best part was that most dishes came with a choice of handmade noodles or rice. For starters, we couldn't resist the takoyaki appetizer which was delicious. I ordered the kung pao chicken with noodles and it was amazing. The portions were huge and I was impressed to see the noodles being made in the kitchen. The kung pao chicken was spicy, but luckily the menu indicated which items were hot. As a fan of spicy food, I really enjoyed this place and hope to come back soon to try more of their tasty dishes.

The dining experience was enjoyable, especially the handmade noodles which I highly recommend. The servers were a bit too persistent, constantly checking if we were ready, which may appeal to some but was a bit overwhelming for me. The downside of the visit was the issue with the air conditioning, as it was uncomfortably hot inside. Hopefully this can be addressed soon, but for now I may opt to take my meal to go.

Not our first trip and certainly not the last.Service is top notch with friendly wait staff, wait time is on point for the amount of food ordered and we always seem to have leftovers.Can't say enough about good things about this place and it's a welcome addition to the growing community of tradition asian cuisine.

Tried it for the first time today and sadly I was disappointed. The restaurant is clean and small. The waitress/staff was very nice and attentive. I took a friend and I ordered the steamed soup buns to share with green onions and pork. These were very good. Must eat while hot for best flavor. I also ordered the house spicy beef soup. It was very bland and definitely not worth the price. The broth had no flavor and the spice was simply spoons full of the pepper flake oil that is on the table. The noodles however were good. The appearance of this soup made me think of Bun Bo Hue, a Vietnamese soup that has tons of complex flavors that this soup lacked. My friend enjoyed his Mongolian chicken. Overall, it was ok and unless I am close by, I won’t make a trip back.
