STAY AWAY!!! We had to ask to place our order after sitting for 20 minutes in the booth. After finally placing our order, we received our food after sitting for 45 minutes, with just chips, salsa, and drinks. My 22-year-old son 's burrito arrived wrong. The skillet nachos were cold and soggy, and I requested a fresh basket of chips over 15 minutes prior. We waited another 15 minutes to track down our waitress, WHO NEVER CAME BY TO CHECK ON US! She was rude and insisted my 22-year-old son ordered the burrito with just meat and a tortilla... Ummm no! The rude waitress brought out all the items for my son to wrap the burrito HIMSELF! I was furious, walked to the front, and asked to speak to a manager. Diego said he was the manager and stated, Well, what do you want? I had them fix the burrito. I stated, No, I asked to fix the burrito. Why were the condiments brought to him to fix the burrito to wrap himself? I continued to ask for sour cream for my soggy skillet nachos and chips to eat with the tableside guacamole. He continued, I see chips, but what do you want? We tried to stop multiple people from asking for help because our waitress was nowhere to be found! I have never been so disrespected in my life! You could not pay me to return to your restaurant. My family and I were so upset all was wanted to do was leave! The manager, Diego, cared more about us paying for the rest of the bill rather than apologizing for the terrible service and food arriving incorrectly. I 've never seen a man run so fast to ensure we paid for the remaining bill, yet we wasted our entire evening, left the rest of the food, and wanted to leave. I don 't care that you comped an incorrect burrito; any apology would have been nice!!! For my family to be blatantly disrespected and ignored is unacceptable; to have management bring out servers and continue to argue with customers trying to convince a grown man, That 's how you ordered it, is even more unprofessional. We paid an $82.00 tab after the manager Diego argued, Well, I brought you the sour cream. I don 't know what else you want... I see chips in your basket. My family and I NEVER RECEIVED AN APOLOGY! (See photos below before leaving after paying for our bill... Hardly any food was eaten). This review will probably get a cocky remark consistent with everything else from this restaurant. Do yourself a favor and AVOID!!! Bottom line: It 's never about the money if the food is delicious and the service is equally on par. The BBB will be made aware of this encounter. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!
Food was okay, crab enchiladas were good. I had the cochinita pibil and let me say it was salty, dry and burned. I didn't like it. Chile verde pork was good, no sharp at all. The waitress was okay, not very friendly. Overall, this place is ok.
My favorite Mexican restaurant on Colorado Blvd Pasadena, great service, food and margaritas is always brilliant, the ambience is super cool to
Just sat at the bar to have some food while waiting for our car to charge. Sadly, my husband was verbally harassed for ordering a non alcoholic beer by a young, terribly unprofessional bartender. There was so much wrong with the situation that it?s not worth expanding on here. What had been a decent experience up until the shift change when this young man showed up, was soured by his ignorant display. Completely careless and offensive. Don?t bother wasting your money here. Follow Up: To the owner who responded did you read my review? The young man made fun of my husband with an off color joke about him drinking a non alcoholic beer. He felt singled out and we were both immediately alienated. It?s unconscionable and should never happen. Everyone should be able to enjoy themselves at your restaurant despite their order and their personal decision to not drink alcohol. This was an ignorant mistake by your bartender that we hope never happens again.
