He would have turned 29.We've lived beside Beach Club Resort for almost a year and have never gone until recently.I'm very happy that my husband surprised me with reservations here. We were treated to a prime table outside, got to enjoy great food, fantastic service, lively atmosphere and a stunning sunset to top it off!It is pricey, but I would have to say it's worth it. My husband had the Steak Dinner 8oz Striploin roasted garlic mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, veal glace – $38. I had the Pacific Salmon maple mustard glaze, roasted baby potatoes (substituted roasted potatoes for mashed potatoes instead), seasonal vegetables $35. We each had one drink and then we shared some sort of delicious chocolate mousse type of dessert. It was noticed by neighboring tables, who couldn't help but comment on how frigging good it looked lol. It was all very tasty!Thank you for the most amazing experience and superb service. We will be back.
At first glance, this place seems really pricey but in actuality it's pretty in line with other places in town except you get a pretty amazing view.Went here twice on my last trip to Parksville and was pretty pleased both times. The first time we came for happy hour where you can get a dozen oysters for $20, including both east and west coast oysters. Glasses of prosecco are only $5.The second time we came for nachos and while $19 for a half order of nachos with no protien initially seemed nuts, they were really good value. Enough chips for two, great cheese distribution and tasty toppings. Guac is $4 extra but they do give you a heaping portion of all sources. It's been a while since I have had nachos this good. The service was excellent and they have daily features.Kid-friendliness: This place is very good friendly.Parking: There is free parking at the resort.
It has a great location on the beach, but service was terribly slow and quite expensive for what we got (very small amount of Dungeness crab on sandwich, laughable. I would have complained, but by the time it finally came, I just needed to eat). Poutine was good (the best I had on this trip), but everything else was very average. It was a sub-par experience with a high price tag.
Food is terrible and way overpriced . I’ve been here a couple times . My return was trying to give it another chance . The prices are outrageous for below par pub quality food . If you go with kids The children’s meals are comparable to something from a gas station ,NO JOKE . I wish I took pictures. It’s such a shame As This is a beautiful location and has so much potential . It really isn’t hard to make good food . They charge fine dining rates for really gross and low budget food . The menu looks wonderful , then the food comes out and the rest is down the toilet . Get a new chef , and invest in quality .
My wife and I visited Pacific Prime Restaurant with high hopes. Nestled close to the beach in Parksville, the location boasts a fantastic view. However, the dining experience, unfortunately, did not live up to the ambience. I opted for an 8 oz New York steak, expecting a lean, flavorful cut of meat. Instead, I was served a disappointingly thin and fatty steak. I ended up having to cut away almost 20% of the steak, reducing the size significantly. My wife's fish and chips, unfortunately, also left much to be desired. The fish was excessively battered, with a crust that was close to being burnt, masking the taste and texture of the fish itself. Thankfully, the fries were decent and saved the dish from being a total letdown. The saving grace for Pacific Prime was undeniably its picturesque outdoor seating area. The close proximity to the beach made for a truly remarkable setting. Overall, while the ambiance is unmatched, the culinary offerings at Pacific Prime left us disappointed. There's room for considerable improvement in their preparation and execution of dishes.
