Tampico Mex Grill - Parkersburg

Today, I decided to visit a new Mexican restaurant in Parkersburg called Happy Amigos. I was greeted and seated right away, and my waiter quickly came over to take my drink order and hand me the menu. I chose the Tostaguac, which is a tostada topped with beef, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and guacamole, served alongside beans and rice. They also offered the standard chips and salsa, and I absolutely loved the salsa. The food and service were fantastic. The restaurant had a vibrant atmosphere with bright colors and beautifully decorated dining areas. I left feeling very satisfied and will definitely return.

Avoid this pest-ridden establishment. My friend and I walked in to use the restroom, and a man with bifocals and messy hair loudly demanded to know what we wanted. When I replied that we were just looking for the restroom, he rudely informed us that there were no public restrooms available. This was especially upsetting since it was Cinco de Mayo, and we were excited to celebrate this wonderful culture with some chips and queso. We won’t be returning, and I hope they close down soon. It’s truly disappointing. Happy Cinco de Mayo, everyone. What a shame.

I didn't receive my complete order, and what I did get was cold. I ordered the fajitas but did not receive any tortillas to actually make a fajita. I also requested melted cheese on top, but that was missing as well.

I won't be back. I ordered 20$ worth of food take out for just me carne asada burrito, Chile relleno, and tamale. Burrito was tiny for 13$, tamale was terrible, I will say I liked the Chile rellleno. The lady was rude and I asked for some sauce after she rang me out. She rolled her eyes and I told her I have cash if its extra for sauce, she said never mind I got it. We were only of three in there and no salsa or sauce. After eating I haven't been that food sick in a long time. My father ordered 4 tacos but again no sauce and he resorted to put on soy sauce. I was horrified. Never been that sick in a long time much better places around town

Best Mexican food I have ever had ! Bean dip is amazing !!!! Love the food and staff is friendly and nice ! What a hidden treasure
