New China - Parkersburg

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant. I live on the south side, so it's super convenient for me to go here. Their food is quite tasty. It's not perfect, but it's definitely good!

This restaurant used to be one of the best Chinese takeout places in the area, but it has recently increased its prices while significantly lowering the quality of the food. I'm aware that they used to serve great meals, but that’s no longer the case. The food is overcooked and lacks flavor. The chicken is dry, reminiscent of leftovers from a buffet that's been sitting out for two days. I cannot recommend this place.

To make matters worse, they insisted we pay for the incorrect items before giving us the correct ones, so we ended up paying for an unnecessary General Tso's and vegetable lo mein. After my dad picked up the wrong order, they called me again to say it was incorrect and asked him to return for the right one. When he went back, they charged him for everything again, totaling around seven meals. This experience has left me very frustrated; it felt like we were taken advantage of.

Cost is a little too much ... Noodles are quite dry ... The cheese wontons have good flavor but not much filling at all. The black pepper chicken was good..

This place is incredible! Ignore all the bad reviews because they're just lies! I've never had my order wrong have NEVER waited more than 15 minutes for my order no matter what time or day I order! Everything I order is absolutely delicious and the best in the area!
