High West Saloon - Park City

I was very excited to try this place. My wife and I came here for cocktails. When we arrived, no one was at the hostess stand to greet us so we assumed it was seat yourself. We grabbed a table and waited for service. After about 10 minutes, a rude lady asked us who seated us there. I explained we seated ourselves. She typed something in her tablet and left. We finally got service after another 5 minutes. The server had no personality. I got the whiskey sampler and my wife got the pink lemonade with vodka. I was not a fan of their whiskeys. Neither was my stomach. The samples were four .5 oz pours of their homemade whiskeys. I felt sick the rest of the day. We left after the one round of drinks. We felt very unwelcomed, as the server barely spoke to us and the lady with the tablet kept giving us the stinkeye every time she walked by us. I will not be returning here again.

They were rolling out a new menu when we went and we were not disappointed. The food and drinks were great and we felt the price was very affordable for having dinner, drinks and desert.

Such a cool vibe and perfectly crafted cocktails by Lawrence at this place! We got pretty lucky going on a Tuesday as I’ve been told they have some incredible wait times during the ski season… Sat at the bar and watched Lawrence pump out, cocktails for two hours straight… guy is a machine r! food was delicious!!! ?charcuterie cheese ?Thai beef noodle dish was amazing?? maybe the best thing I had eaten in UT! Will come again and try more items!

Ladies in the gift shop are always great. Make the trip when I'm in this part of the country so I can pick up something from the gift shop. Took my wife to the bar last weekend. Rude bartender who couldn't be bothered. He had to ask us twice what our order was. Poured the larger pour without asking what I wanted. $45 pour for something that I could've bought in the gift shop for a little over 2X the price. Bottom line: great whiskies and gift shop, poor service and overpriced drinks in the bar. Stop at the gift shop, skip the bar
