For dessert, the owner brought out mango with sticky rice. I was...surprised to find the place empty as I was the only diner the entire evening. Though not cheap, the food and service was excellent.
We found this restaurant by chance on our way out of work (up to 21:45) and we absolutely don't regret this discovery! With regard to the previous comments I wanted to share our experience because I feel that it has changed a lot. Indeed, the decor is not old but plunges us directly into an authentic thailandese atmosphere worth discovering all these dishes! (we come back from a trip to Thailand, we know what we're talking about)! The prices are reasonable for the neighborhood and especially the dishes were divine! the reception is warm and the impeccable service! We'll come back without hesitation or I'll order at the office! in short, don't hesitate to cross the door of this charming restaurant that breaks with the countless tourist breweries or business meals!
Kleber avenue. this long avenue that starts from the trocadéro and runs to the arc of triumph, enamelled with a myriad of breweries, small restaurants, molt shops and other pubs - I wanted to escape the horde of tourists invaded the capital in the beautiful days, by bifurling in one of the counter-allées. And great good has taken me. the front is relatively unattractive. Let us pass this step quickly by entering the place. the place is rather cozy - about thirty covers at most. somewhat dark at first, but the light adjusts. it is past 8pm and the place is deserted (:-() - not even scared. I want to eat Thai. I hit the right door obviously. discreet but effective reception (although not loquace.) of the rather Parisian prices and no menu. My choice is on a well-stocked papaya shrimp and lemon salad, delicious squids and lemony vegetables. punctuated by a green tea (a real one, not a bag) miam - all this was very good, a hair spicy for me.) soon made to perfect my opinion. Little sake offered in digestive.
I had a delicious souvenir of the à la carte dishes. one of the menus of lunch at 15 € 90 is scandalous: small portions with ridiculously uninterested entries (flavourless broth, profusion vermicelles and ridiculous chicken lamelles) and worthy of the most common Chinese, nothing Thai
Small restaurant husband and wife, authentically Thai. Be patient, the service is a little slow (Paris style) but it's worth waiting. I traveled all over the world, including Thai, and it was one of the best prepaid Thai dishes I've ever had. Every bite was delicious!
