Magnum Opus Fine Coffees

Ever since I found out about Magnum Opus, it has been my temporary work place in BF. The ambiance is so chill and they have a good taste in music. The place is small though and I wish they have a better and cleaner restroom. However, their coffee is so good! I personally love their belgian heartbreak and chilled heartbreak. It’s their version of hot and iced cafe mocha! Their monte cristo grilled cheese sandwich is so goood too! Do you know that the owners of Magnum Opus are the same owners of EACH in Molito?

Best drink for me: Belgian Heartbreaker The cafe is small but I like the vibe of it. I usually study out in cafes but this place isn’t conducive for that. I think it’s more for hanging out and having a quick chit chat with someone.

My boyfriend and I are looking for a restaurant that serves monte cristo so we came across this. We had a difficulty finding the restaurant because it was situated in the 2nd floor of a small building. It was a humble restaurant I must say. No fancy decorations, just simple tables and chairs where you can drink your coffee. We asked for their best sellers for their coffee and they told us it actually depends on your taste. Chilled heartbreak- This is the only heartbreak I wanted in my life. If you are experiencing some romantic heartbreak this can mend it

A good place to hang out with family and friends. One oftue coffee shops where you can do office or school work. They serve quality drinks for a reasonable price. They also have pastries.

Food- I had a cup of their famous Belgian Heartbreak (175 php), and yes, it tasted exquisite. I liked the thickness of the drink, and the play of coffee and chocolate was excellent. It 's just too pricey for a 9oz cup. My friend ordered Latte (150php). Again, lovely taste yet pricey. Yes, the latte was delicious, but it was a boring cup. There was nothing special except for the thick texture. We shared a slice of their cheesecake (160 php). I really don 't like how it 's so expensive and mediocre. For 160 php, you 'd expect a wow reaction, but there was none. When I tried the cheesecake with the brittle and balsamic glaze, I did not have a particular reaction. If you want a mental taste of it here 's a description: Basic cheesecake, with gimmicky toppings. Service- Barista was so-so. By so-so, I mean, not super friendly yet not very snobbish. Ambience- The reason I 'm giving this a 4.0 is because of the ambience. I was able to study here without any disturbances except for the breathtaking aroma of their Insane Monte Cristo sandwich (which I regrettably, did not order)!!! That is a compliment, I tell you. *UPDATE: I did come back and ordered the Hot Belgian and Chilled Heartbreak. Both were delicious. Staff was awkward. Will come back for the Monte Cristo, I promise. *UPDATE 2:Finally ordered the Monte Cristo. Insanely great scent, pretty boring taste. *UPDATE 3: I decided to rate this as 5.0 as this has been my go-to coffee shop every week. I am in love with their matcha drinks.
