Michael's Tavern - Paphos

Eating was amazing personal friendly, restaurant modern with a cozy atmosphere, good worth a visit, also prices are very reasonable

Our meze was good, service is friendly. parking on the nearby empty plot, although they pay attention to having a car with lower ground clearance.

Michaels tavern is a great place to try typical Cypriot specialties. we ordered mezes for two that cost 21 euro per person. they have nothing for our 3 years old. after the escaped and the first head with meat we were almost full, but more came. the service was attentive, cheerful, but unobtrusive. we would be happy if we were back in paphos.

You'll find Michael's House 100 yards up a street opposite the Alexander the Great Hotel. Not on the main drag but then it doesn't need the high pressure promotion some others require. Very hospitable staff and family who are passionate about their business and making sure guests feel welcomed, included and relaxed. My wife chose the pan seared Sea bass and not being a fish fan, I chose the Grandma's stuffed chicken. I'm not sure whether Grandma made it but it was beautifully prepared and presented. No pics of the food as we just couldn't wait to taste it!! Lots of wine, good conversation in a beautiful restaurant made the night fly by. We'll definitely be coming back!
