Chada Thai - Palmerston North

Bland Bland Bland. It wouldn't be awkward to come back here. Not Thai food I know about. The flavors were all out and it was the texture as if it was frozen and then simply reheated.

I was in this restaurant a few times since I discovered that I had to be gluten-free. I am probably coeliac but it has not been fully confirmed yet as tests are still running. However, this Thai restaurant offers a decent variety of GF meals and as long as you make it very clear for them, this is necessary, they are happy to always accommodate. The service is always pleasant. I cannot say that they have a dedicated GF preparation area and there is a chance (I feel personally) that cross-contamination can occur, so please be careful. Call. Incredible food and service! Definitely the best Thai food we've had in Palmerston North. Portion sizes were great and we loved every dish we ordered. The Curry puffs, Roti satay, and Roast Duck noodle soup were just a few of our favorites. Highly recommended restaurant if you value quality Thai food.

I had the chicken tempura salad. Lovely crispy batter and a simple salad perfect for my lunch. Loved it. There was enough for a light dinner because I ate with chopsticks, my skills have sadly deteriorated.
