Black Pearl Cafe - Palmerston North

This restaurant is fantastic! My wife and I visited four days in a row because we loved it so much. The food and bubble tea are extremely delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating to all our requests. Plus, the fish in the tank are adorable! Along with a few friends, we managed to sample nearly all the bubble tea flavors (we had 18 drinks in total), and each one was amazing. I highly recommend this place!

I am only able to visit Palmerston North two evenings a year, whilst on business, and this is where I eat when I come to town. Great food, and bubble tea, good portions, relaxed atmosphere, reasonably priced, and above all, friendly and caring staff! Thanks to Alice and her team. See you again soon. Andrew

Came in with kids to get bubble tea. Very yum. The women who served me was very helpful. The boba I get in welly (Tiger restaurant) is probably more authentic etc but I loved the taste of the bubble tea here...and I typically don't like bubble tea!

Taste: 4/5 Price: Portions: medium The korean chicken was super tasty, the sheimp wontons were good but the suace was extremely salty, and the black sesame bubble tea was downright disgusting.
