There are several Pattie options and page options suitable for vegans, and fungal-averse people will be happy to know that the mushroom Pattie does not taste like mushrooms! The online ordering options make it difficult to replace vegan options sometimes, and the only way can be to leave an ingredient even if a substitution is available. You can clearly display allergies via the website ordering system that is a big plus. The quality of the food had improved much, the Palmy franchise was cruel, but seem to have resolved their game. This is our go-to for delicious burgers! Burgerfuel is centrally located and it 's typically easy enough to find a parking spot which is a plus. They offer takeout and dine-in options and you can even order online or over the phone and pick up to speed up the process (although they 're generally very quick anyway! . The Combustion Tofu is my favourite burger although the V8 is another fantastic vegan option. The Motobite side and fries (potato and kumara are all vegan friendly if you swap to vegan aioli and they have vegan shakes in three flavours! Friendly staff, quick service, and delicious 'main stream ' food!

I ordered the V8 Vegan burger and Kumara Chips with vegan aioli for an extra $0.50 on my 5-hour road trip. The food was incredibly tasty and looked very appetizing. I regret not taking a photo because it looked perfect. The only downside is that it's a bit expensive, but I have no regrets. (Updated from previous review on August 5, 2022)

This restaurant is a fantastic spot to visit on special occasions, although it can be a bit expensive. They offer a wide variety of meat dishes, with only a limited selection of vegan options available.
