I’ve loved everything I’ve ordered from this place, delicious!!! It’s a sure thing, a never-fail They always have friendly staff! Love you guys and gals, thank you for always treating all of the food with so much care! ありがとう Arigatō Wheelchair accessibility: Has very easy wheelchair accessibility. Meal type: Dinner
I had the hibachi steak and scallop combo. The steak was very very bland. The sauce was needed badly. The scallops were sliced thin to give the appearance of an abundance of scallops. The onions (and vegetables) were raw without any indication that the had been on a skillet. Did I mentioned that the steak was also tough (I ordered my steak medium). The Mizo soup was salty. The whole meal looked and tasted as if the was steamed and then covered in a watery hibachi sauce.

The food is always made fresh, which ensures it's nice and hot. It tastes quite good, but we felt it could have had more meat. I ordered a chicken dish, while my wife had shrimp, and we both wished there was a bit more in our portions. However, we'll likely return since it's conveniently located near our home and the food is fresh and tasty. Overall, I'd give it a rating of 4 out of 5.
All aboard the Hibachi Express! Get ready for a quick dining experience in Palm Bay, FL—one of the great cities across the globe. The restaurant is conveniently located in a standard plaza right off Malabar Rd, making it easy to find. Upon entering, I immediately noticed that the place is family-owned. There were a few younger staff members on their phones, but they quickly shifted into gear once I approached the counter. An older gentleman could also be seen peeking out from the back. Having visited several Hibachi-style restaurants during my travels, including Kobe Express in Cherokee, NC, I found that Hibachi Express operates a bit differently. This spot doesn't have servers; instead, customers walk up to place their orders when they know what they want. It has a very much in-and-out vibe, mostly catering to takeout. The dining setup includes paper plates, plastic utensils, and styrofoam cups, along with some bottled drink options. I was amused by the fountain drink setup—it seems that if you ask for water, you might end up with pink Hi-C punch instead! I ordered the steak and chicken hibachi (without mushrooms), a modified shrimp tempura roll, and fried ice cream to see what it was all about. It’s worth noting they don’t offer soy paper—only regular seaweed. Unfortunately, this establishment gives off more of a Walmart-equivalent vibe when it comes to hibachi, and the food reflects that. It’s not the best meal I’ve ever had, nor is it the worst. The steak and chicken dish was clearly put together in a hurry, which I assume is where the "express" aspect comes in. Each bite felt a bit underwhelming, and the meats were of medium quality. The fried rice lacked flavor; it was more like a bland cousin of fried rice, but it got the job done for a quick meal. I chose not to eat much of the shrimp tempura roll due to my dislike for seaweed, though it appeared to be a fairly standard offering, again quickly assembled. Now, about the fried ice cream—it was massive, almost resembling a mini asteroid! The outer shell was so hard that by the time I finally got inside, the ice cream was mostly melted (which could be partly my fault for taking my time). The experience felt like I was digging through a strange, breaded ice cream shell, leading to a gooey mess. It was almost like venturing into the Upside Down from *Stranger Things,* so I decided to quit while I was ahead. Overall, the place was fairly clean, and the service was prompt. Whether you'll enjoy it depends on your expectations, but there’s not much else to add.
