Rose's Family - Oxford

This restaurant offers excellent traditional Italian-American cuisine, featuring highlights such as Steak on a Tock and Tomahawk steak, among other delicious specials. The menu consistently presents a nice variety of standard and special options. The service is generally very good, though occasionally it might miss the mark. The ambiance feels a bit outdated, with booths, tables, and a nearby bar for those who enjoy a drink before dinner or prefer sitting at the bar. You can order from the full menu, enjoy a drink, and catch a game or two. This place is one of our go-to staples, except during the summer when the outdoor dining setup feels poorly arranged in the harsh sunlight. They excel in takeout service, and the pizza is a solid choice as well. Highly recommended!

Rose's has been our favorite local spot for years. The food is fantastic every time we visit. OG and Lydia always provide excellent service, and we never have to wait for anything. The atmosphere is cozy and well-lit. I particularly enjoy the seafood dishes and can't resist the fish specials, while my daughter and husband stick to their go-to chicken vodka ziti. Recently, we haven't been able to enjoy dessert because we're always too full after dinner, but I absolutely love the tiramisu—it's rich and creamy!

I dined here for the first time last night and had a great experience. I was torn between the petite ribeye and the regular size, and I'm so glad I chose the petite—though it certainly wasn't small! The staff were friendly and exceptionally attentive; when one team member was busy, another would come by to check on us. The food portions were generous, easily enough for two meals. The steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection. There was an excellent selection on the menu, along with great beverage options. This is definitely a fantastic local spot!

Came a few weeks ago to celebrate the end of my daughters school year. We've gotten takeout here a number of times but never dined in. Everything was standard, nothing poor, nothing mind blowing. I don't not recommend it and it is one of the better restaurants in Oxford, but there are some other Italian places in surrounding towns I'd be more likely drive a little further to go to instead.

They also have entertainment on weekends one guy name Joe Z excellent music plus the food is great and the service too .
