Bistro 143 - Oxford

I have only tried the pizza at this restaurant, and it is now my favorite in the area. We had dined there when it was Pies 'n Pints and thought it was terrible. However, someone recommended their pizza, so we decided to give it a try, and honestly, it is really great.

My husband and I dined at the restaurant on a Saturday evening and were impressed by the new menu offerings. I tried the Chicken Milanese sandwich, which was delicious with its thin, crispy chicken cutlet on focaccia bread. My husband enjoyed a salad and a sausage and pepperoni pizza, which were also tasty. We highly recommend stopping by to try the new menu items, and we will definitely return for another visit.

Awful. Food was horrible. We ordered a bunch of different small plates and all of them were disgusting. Calamari was so hard. The gyro was just hamburger meat. The drinks were watered down. I never complain but told the waitress how bad the food was. It was my first and last time ever going there. I see why it changes names/owners often

I apologize for not having photos, as we had Bistro 143 delivered and any pictures I took would not do the food justice. Let me just say, you need to try this place as soon as possible! The food was absolutely incredible. I ordered linguine with marinara and added meatballs. The meal also came with a choice of soup or salad, and I opted for the New England clam chowder which was hands down the best I've had in a long time. It was filled with plump clams, smoky bacon, and potatoes in a creamy, perfectly seasoned chowder. The linguine was clearly fresh and coated in delicious marinara. And let me tell you about the meatballs - tender, flavorful, and juicy. These are definitely some of the best I've ever had! My son had the short rib grilled cheese on thick cut sourdough bread with gruyere cheddar cheese, short rib, and onion jam, grilled to perfection. He also had thick cut spiral fries on the side, and he, being a French fry snob, loved them. Trust me, you need to try Bistro 143 as soon as you can. I can't wait to dine in person and try more of their offerings!

The staff and food at this restaurant are amazing. We have tried many dishes and have loved them all. The staff is very attentive and friendly, and we really enjoy the special menus.
