The Royal Oak - Oxford

Beautiful pub, recently renovated, excellent food and beer is amazing. I recommend Steak, Shin Pale Ale and Neck Oil.

Chicken schnitzel nice, aspall cider nice. Social ambience good for us old professors goes back centuries. I do think they should open up earlier than 12 noon. Each time I come into oxford will make for this place right opposite my bus stop to go home.

Superb. Staff were very welcoming, great range of drinks to choose from. The food is highly recommended, the chicken and chorizo was first class. If you’re in the area, give it a try.

A great pub. Nicely lively, but slightly away from the madding crowd, and all the better for it. Great atmosphere, good selection of beers and cocktails and the food looked excellent too.
