The Crown - Oxford

With friends from Germany and America. Had a nice, inexpensive lunch of chicken and avocado ciabbatta with chips. It was really filled and a good part on the plate. The others had fish-finger sandwiches and pulled pork chips with chips. My two-year-old granddurst dinner would have filled me well. Beautiful friendly pub that allows dogs in non-speech areas, we fight to find dog friendly places would come back at my next visit.

Beautiful warm and cozy pub and restaurant. The staff is very friendly and friendly. The food was delicious and a good size. Great for a beer and a beautiful courtyard seating area. Definitely one of the best pubs in Oxford. I would recommend booking a table, we simply went without booking, but it was only with luck we have a table and that was a Saturday.

We only had 2 days in Oxford and stumbled in this beautiful place, just arrived from our house in California. Not too hungry, but needed some susceptibility and of course apple wine on tap. Excellent cedar, fabulous chips and the best garlic bread. When we had to eat next night, we made ourselves here. The chicken burger should die. Friendly people and nice mood too.

Fun spot in central Oxford. The prices are nice, we didn't try to eat it, but there was okay. The place on his own looks really cool. It's clean. Fun decorations and lots of space

Great food served by friendly staff in a traditional and atmospheric English pub. The menu is clearly very popular here. The lamb shank Shepherds pie, the slow cooked rib and brisket pie and the fish pie were all completely sold out before 7.00pm on a Saturday evening! Very expensive drinks which wouldn't look out of place in the capital. With lots of history, great memories of years past, this is still a great venue to meet up with family and friends for drinks or a tasty meal.
