The Coconut Tree Oxford

Eating is delicious and authentic, just like sri lankan this is a great sound! the staff is very warm and friendly and the setting has a rustic, chilled feel about what just added to the charm! we will definitely make the cocosnus tree to our hopper mix! highly recommended!

This was our Curry group destination this month and, wow, what a find! From the moment we walked in we were given a great welcome. We had left it up to the chef to select dishes for us and it was an excellent selection including the wonderful Egg Hoppers to start with, BCC (an absolute must! , battered spicy cuttlefish, devilled chicken wings, goat curry and more. The flavours and textures were fabulous, with a pleasant, gradual heat of chilli. Accompanied with a 'Drunken Sri Lankan ' cocktail (or two! and Lion lager, it was a delicious and memorable meal. Thank you!

I had a great meal here, with friendly and patient service, as well as delicious food. the personal was really great that my eating companion coeliac is (here helps that many menu gluten-free is standard.) many exciting dishes to try, but next time I will make sure that my food is sri lankas spicy!
